First Fridays :
Downtown Juneau hosts an art walk on the First Friday of each month. From 4:30-close on the First Friday, visit the shops and galleries of Downtown Juneau. Snacks, socializing, and meeting artists in person highlight these evenings.

First Friday, June 6: Sherri McDonald
Juneau book and paper artist Sherri McDonald will be our guest for First Friday in May. Sherri uses handmade papers and paper materials to create her unique original artworks. Her work requires incredible diligence and attention to detail, and corresponds to beautiful and unique art prints. The First Friday show will feature Sherri's prints and original artworks. Come meet Sherri from 4:30 pm to 8 pm on Friday, June 6.

First Friday, July 4: No Event Scheduled
There will not be a First Friday event on Friday, July 4. We will all be at Sandy Beach enjoying the Independence Day festivities. Have a great 4th!
First Friday, August 1: Karen Beason
Juneau paper artist Karen Beason will be our guest for First Friday in August. Karen will be showing her block prints and paper mache fish sculptures. Come meet Karen from 4:30 pm to 8 pm on Friday, August 1.

First Friday, October 3: Rob Roys
Rob Roys will return to be our guest artist for our October First Friday show. Rob is one of Juneau's best known abstract artists. The event will take place 4:30 pm to 8 pm on Friday, October 3. Come see the new paintings that Rob worked on over the summer!
First Friday, November 7: Barbara Lavallee
Barbara Lavallee, one of Alaska's most famous artists and illustrators, will be back at Annie Kaill's in November. Come see Barbara's newest prints and original paintings as well as her treasured children's books including "Mama Do You Love Me?" Come meet Barbara from 4:30 pm to 8 pm on Friday, November 7.

First Friday, December 5: Gallery Walk 2008
Gallery Walk, held the First Friday of December each year, is downtown Juneau's signature event! All the shops stay open late, with guest artists, snacks, socializing and more! Santa even makes his way through downtown visiting the galleries. Our guests this year include:
