Noelle Dersé:
Noelle combines slides and photo negatives with ink and paper to create a unique style of artwork called "transfer photographs."

Noelle Dersé moved to Juneau a million years ago, left, came back, bought some snow shoes, started a family, and took some pictures. Along the way, she taught herself to use slides and Polaroid negatives to make transfer pictures that are, at least sometimes, hazy, dreamy, nostalgic, and evocative.
Noelle's
Her recent work uses old family slides from far-flung places like Samarkand and Tripoli and what we used to call East Berlin. Monuments and memories and places long gone by.
